Non-Invasive Body Sculpting Therapies To Tighten, Tone

21 February 2020

With summer almost at our door, our efforts to workout can be 100% but what if there are therapies to help boost your body’s abilities to tighten and tone?

Two non-invasive therapies continue to help diet- and exercise-focused women and men enhance their bodies without surgery or downtime. Our OneSpaWorld experts have provided a shortlist of just some of the most successful Medi-Spa therapies meant to sculpt your body.

Trusculpt Body Contouring

What it does: Trusculpt reduces unwanted fat and sculpts problem areas using radio frequency technology. Targeting the abs and flanks, the procedure can treat multiple areas in just one 15-minute session and requires zero downtime post-treatment.

How it works: The technology actually selectively targets fat tissue then heats it until it is eliminated and passes through the body naturally.

How it feels: It’s been compared to a hot stone massage by those who have experienced it. Though the skin will heat up, it won’t cause any discomfort and only a possible light sensitivity post-treatment.

Thermage

What it does: Like Trusculpt, Thermage uses radiofrequency technology to heat the deeper, collagen-rich layers of the skin. The process smooths and tightens skin for an overall younger, healthier appearance.

How it works: Forget needles or injections, the non-invasive treatment can be used on the face, tummy, legs and even eyes with no downtime. As the deeper layers of the skin are reached via heat, the collagen begins to contract and new collagen is encouraged to grow. Patients can see results in just one treatment.

How it feels: The Thermage system incorporates a light vibration on the face and body, which provides comfort to those being treated. Patients feel a heating sensation when the tool touches the skin, followed by a cooling sensation to minimize any discomfort. And like Trusculpt, side effects include only the possibility of temporary redness or minor swelling and no special care is needed post-treatment.
